Dani Venter Prof. Dani Venter is a former South African diplomat who is
Professor Extraordinarius in International Business Relations in the School of
Business Management, Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, of the
University of South Africa. He has advised a number of multinationals in the European
Union on their investments in South Africa and acted as a consultant for the
European Commission. Prof. Venter holds MBA, MCom, PhD and DCom degrees. He is
the author of a book on economic sanctions South Africa, Sanctions and the
Multinationals, and co-author of books including 11 September:
strategic implications of the World Trade Centre attack and Global
business: environment and strategies of which the 2nd edition
was republished in 2003. Prof. Venter is Chairman of the Institute for Business Innovation and Chairman of Education Africa (UK). Prof. Venter has written numerous articles and presented
papers at national and international conferences.

Ernst
Neuland
Prof. Ernst Neuland is Professor of International Business and
Strategy in the School of Business Management, Faculty of
Economic and Management Sciences, at the University of South Africa. He was
vice-rector of Vista University and visiting professor at the University of
Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. He holds MSc, MBA and DBA degrees and is the co-author of a number
of books including 11 September: strategic implications of the World Trade Centre attack
and Global business: environment and strategies of which the 2nd
edition was republished in 2003.

Prof.
Neuland has written numerous articles and presented papers at national and
international
conferences. He was a founding member and first President of the Southern
Africa Institute for Management Scientists (SAIMS) in 1987, and also a founding
member and first chairperson of the Southern Africa Chapter of the Academy of International
Business (AIB) in 1997.
Dr Eltie Links was Professor and Head of the Department of
Economics at the University of the Western Cape before becoming South Africa's
Representative to the World Bank and the IMF in Washington and to the European
Financial Sector in Zurich. He was subsequently appointed as South African
Ambassador to the European Union and to
Belgium and Luxembourg. On his return to South Africa he joined the
executive of Santam and serves on the Boards of Directors of various other
companies. He is also Director of the Investment and Trade Policy Centre at the
University of Pretoria and oversees a joint post-graduate programme with the
University of the Western Cape. Dr Links holds a PhD degree and has presented
papers at national and international conferences.
Prof Tersia Brevis is an Associate
Professor of Management in the School for Business Management at the University
of South Africa. She holds a D.Com
degree in Business Management from the University of South Africa and is the
co-author of a number of books in the field of General Management. Prof Brevis is also involved in the
University of South Africas Centre for Business management where she
co-ordinates and teaches courses such as the African Management Programme and
the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Programme. She has published
numerous articles in the field of Finance and Entrepreneurship and presented
papers at national and international conferences.
Wadim Schreiner is the Managing Director of Media Tenor South Africa and Marketing Director marketing for Media Tenor International, which focuses on quantitative media content analysis and consults for leading corporations worldwide. Mr. Schreiner is a member of the Council for Communication and Education in Africa, an advisory board member to 'Convergence' Magazine and specialises in studies in agenda setting and international news flow. He holds an Honours degree in German Literature from the University of South Africa and an MA in Business Communication from the University of Potchefstroom.
Talitha Bertelsmann-Scott
Talitha Bertelsmann-Scott is an independent researcher based in Cape Town. Previously she held the position of Trade
Policy Officer at Christian Aid in London and was the Standard Bank SA-EU
Research Fellow at the South African Institute of International Affairs. Her fields of interest include SA-EU relations,
regional integration and the World Trade Organisation. She has been a guest lecturer at various
institutions and has published numerous articles. She holds a Master's degree in
Political Science.
